On behalf of our staff, the wonderfully supportive members of the Fulton church of Christ, and the many generous donors who have made this school possible, thank you for your interest in enrolling your son or daughter at the Mel Hux Christian Academy. We are pleased to announce that, as of April 12th, our enrollment is officially open for the 2009-2010 school year. Please review the following information to become more familiar with our enrollment process, and then we encourage you to apply as soon as possible given our limited number of spots available.

• To begin the enrollment process for your child, you will need to complete an application, and there are two ways to do that. You can download a copy of our paper application to complete and mail to us, or you are welcome to use our electronic application. If you choose the paper application, it will take approximately 2-3 business days for us to begin processing your application because of mail delivery times. However, if you use our electronic option, once you fill in the necessary information, we can begin processing your application instantly. In addition, please rest assured knowing that our electronic application process is fully encrypted to protect your personal information. Links to both the paper and electronic applications, along with instructions, are at the bottom of this page.


• Before we can begin processing your application, we do require a one-time nonrefundable application fee of $25. Your application will be processed when your fee is received. Once we have processed your application, we will contact you to schedule a time when we can meet you and your family. Words on a page cannot accurately describe what people are really like, so we feel this interview process is essential. It is also very important for your family to meet our staff and see our facilities firsthand, so this is a great time for us to meet and get to know one another better.


• At the completion of the interview phase, our School Board will make a final review of all applications and any notes taken at the time of each interview, and then they will select those students who will be accepted for the upcoming school year. All applicants will be contacted within 1-2 days to relay this information.

Electronic Payment

For added convenience we accept electronic payments of the application fee through a fully secured partnership with PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to use this free service, and it is a completely secure transaction processed through their server. This payment method will expedite the processing of your application. You can pay with a debit or credit card, or by using an electronic check.

Check by Mail

Paying your application fee by sending a check through the mail will slightly delay the processing of your application, however you are welcome to use this method of payment. Please make your check payable to Mel Hux Christian Academy and mail to the address above.
