We are very excited to announce our new College Ministry which will serve students from Fulton and surrounding areas. Part of our College Ministry is an innovative program that was recently launched at the Westminster College freshman orientation on September 8th. Our members met students with an overwhelming interest in this involvement opportunity. In fact, over 150 of the new students have already signed up to be a part of this exciting endeavor! We take seriously our commission given in Mark 16:15 to evangelize the entire world, so we are delighted to see the potential of this new ministry. Due to the great response from these students, many ideas for expansion and growth are currently being discussed. Please check back often for the latest news. |
About the Program The Adopt-A-Student program will attempt to bridge the gap between local college students and the community by helping these young men and women feel more comfortable and adjust better to their new home away from home. Not only will local students find everything they need to assist them in their faith journey, participants in the Adopt-A-Student program will experience even more benefits. When paired with young couples in our congregation, students will surely find comfort in knowing they have positive, supportive friends who they can hang-out with, come over to do laundry, or enjoy a home-cooked meal with.
