Children's Class

Grades: 1st - 3rd

Description: To begin their class, the young students in this class gather with the students of the Preschool and Junior Youth Classes to watch part of a Bible-based educational series. After viewing this educational movie, the students break off into their respective classes for age-appropriate lessons relating to the video series. Classroom teachers at the Fulton Church of Christ understand that the children of today require a great deal of visual stimulation to keep them interested and help them learn and retain knowledge. That is why they include quality, Bible-based video in their curriculum. Once these young children return to their class, they continue their learning with visual story books, songs, and fun craft making. Since these students are at a higher level of learning than the preschool children, this class also incorporates memory verses and discussions relating to the topic they're currently studying.
